Tell me a story like the one I’ve told you before. Tell me your secrets I can keep them until I get old. Everybody’s gone now, and the night is getting cold. I should leave this place before someone tells me I’m drunk. I just want to be somewhere else. I just want to be somebody else. I just want to be somebody else instead of me. Someone told me that this is heaven on earth, but I don’t trust anyone who believes in invisible jerks. Will you tell me something? Will you give me a call? Will you be in the mirror when I wake up without underwear? I just want to be somewhere else. I just want to be somebody else. I just want to be somebody else instead of me. This is what you get when you want to be young again. I just want to be someone new. I just want to be with you.

The Stones Are Coming

I used to go to school on the bus where we met I used to look at you and every colored-clothes you wore. And if I could return to those old days I’d do the same. I’d love to stare at you and your Smokey eyes again. I hear that the Stones are coming to our town today, would you like to come and sing their songs again? I remember you and me walking around until the end of the day, talking about the singles club and the last one that they sent. Just before that September when your parents took you away. I remember you and me walking till the end of the day. Even though it was raining the sun was shining those days because when you looked at me that way I went insane.
