When I come back home on Christmas Day I’d like to recall your favorite game. You try to find everyone jumping to their knees and they roar with laughter when you climb the tree. What a day, what a beautiful day. While I’m driving back home I’m thinking of you. There’s a lot of old pictures, I don’t know what to do. Should I throw them away? Should I burn them up? Should I put them in a box? Should I turn around? Should I leave this town? I don’t want to grow up. Those days were days of fun. When I’m knocking the door, I start to think ‘bout the ones who have gone and the ones who have left. Christmas time is not as good as it was before. I’m so glad you are there when they open the door. I’m so happy that you’re still in my life.
